Madhusudhan Atre, commonly known as Madhu, is the co-founder and director of AGNIT Semiconductors. He holds a PhD in theoretical physics and collaborates with academic institutions, industry leaders, government agencies, and startups. Madhu is a mentor to several startups and is actively involved in committees related to Indian academic institutions and the Government of India. He played a key role in establishing the India center for Lucent Microelectronics and has held leadership roles, including VP & MD of India operations at Lucent Microelectronics, Agere Systems, LSI, Applied Materials, and AMD. His current research focuses on Causal AI in precision medicine and personalized healthcare. In addition to his PhD, Madhu holds a Doctorate in Business Administration.
