Professor Srinivasan Raghavan, widely known as Vasu, is the co-founder and director of AGNIT Semiconductors. He is also a trained materials scientist and the current Chair of the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE) at IISc. Since joining IISc in 2006, his research has focused on the intersection of materials engineering and device technology. Vasu was instrumental in establishing the nanofabrication and characterization facility at CeNSE, which has become the largest academic fabrication lab in India. This facility has played a vital role in advancing India’s semiconductor research and development. Additionally, Vasu has been key in building a robust GaN materials and device research platform at CeNSE, ensuring its continuous growth and influence in the field.
